It’s been a long time, Rockstar Games. Since the debut of the Grand Theft Auto series in 1997, the GTA series has sold over 114 million games. There hasn’t been a new GTA game since Grand Theft Auto 4 came out in 2008, so we’re due for another installment. Right on time, Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have released the trailer to Grand Theft Auto 5, and it looks as though we’ll be returning to the sunny shores of San Angeles. The trailer itself seems kind and gentle, but I guarantee you the game will feature as much hooker murder and over-the-top craziness as all the other games had. Take a look for yourself!

We know we’re going back to San Andreas, Rockstar’s fake LA, and we know that we’re going to be playing in some kind of satirical “Hollywood dream” environment. We know there are hookers, homeless people, and migrant workers picking fruit, in addition to some kind of robbery, car-driving, and general mayhem. Will we be able to fly a jet again as the trailer suggests? Will there be multiple characters to play as, which some are predicting? Will the game feature stuff seen in other games, like weight-lifting, gaining weight, and the ability to lie?
