Tommy Jordan, an IT consultant, is the father of a 15-year-old daughter. Like most teenagers, young Hannah Jordan turned to Facebook to vent her frustrations. Unfortunately for Hannah, her father is a freaking IT consultant. Hannah’s history of venting on Facebook has gotten her into trouble before, and despite being grounded for it in the past, she was complaining in a Facebook wall post, thinking her father had been locked out of viewing it. Too bad for her; in an epic viral video, Tommy Jordan shot his teenage daughter’s laptop in retaliation.

“Today was probably the most disappointing day of my life as a father and I don’t know how to correct the situation. Since I can’t seem to make any headway with my daughter on Facebook, I chose instead to remedy the situation permanently,” reads the note with the posting of the Jordan video on YouTube.
I think everyone has wanted to shoot their laptop, or someone else’s laptop. Now, not only does Hannah not have a laptop anymore, she’s going to have to pay her parents back for the money they spent and then buy her own laptop, which is pretty tough unless you get really lucky at the thrift store or move to India. As for Mr. Jordan, that video he figured would only be seen by 500 people has now been seen over 21 million times.
