Snooki keeping it classy at a James Madison University speaking engagement.

Well, the world as we know it is officially coming to an end.  Reality television superstar and Jersey shore resident Nicole Polizzi, AKA Snooki, is reportedly pregnant.  That’s right, a binge-drinking, staggering mess from the MTV reality television show Jersey Shore is reportedly bearing an offspring thanks to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle.  Snooki’s people haven’t confirmed it yet, but it was confirmed by E! and other sources close to the 24-year-old Snooki.

What good timing for the Jersey Shore crew, whose reality show has dipped in the ratings.  What good timing for Snooki, who is reportedly filming her own off-shoot reality program with JWoww and whose celebrity star has dimmed.  Given Nicole’s profligate ways on her reality show, are we sure that this child (if there even is one) is Jionni’s?  Everyone seems quick to lay this child at his feet, but she’s been seen screwing around on him on television before, so… yeah, I guess we’ll find out.

But if it’s true?  Man, that poor child.  Having Snooki as a mother would be… yeah, terrible.
