How could someone leave such an adorable blurry child at the pub?
UK Prime Minister David Cameron probably has a lot on his mind. Even when he’s out for a night at the pub with his family, I’m sure he’s a very busy, distracted man. You’re running a nation; how could you not be a little preoccupied? Well, that preoccupation had terrible results for Cameron’s family and multitude of retainers and bodyguards. The Cameron family left The Plough pub in Casden, Bucks, but left something important behind. It wasn’t a purse full of drugs or an iPhone, it was a daughter. UK Prime Minister David Cameron left his 8-year-old daughter Nancy behind at the bar.
Turns out it was a simple case of he said she said. Cameron, who piled into one car with his bodyguards, thought the 8-year-old had jumped in the car with her mother Samantha, 6-year-old brother Elwen, and 22-month-old sister Florence; Samantha thought Nancy had hopped in the car with her Prime Minister father. Turns out, they had both left her behind at the bar while she was in the bathroom.
“It’s not like you can look up David Cameron in the phone book and then ring to say, ‘You’ve left your daughter behind.’ You’d have thought someone would have done a headcount or something,” said an unnamed insider at the pub. “”Pub staff found their daughter in the toilet and didn’t know what to do. It’s frightening the Prime Minister of Britain can forget something so important as his own daughter.”
The 8-year-old was separated from her father and mother for 15 minutes. The cars had gotten about 2 miles down the road before someone realized a child was missing. I bet it was Larry, the Chief Mouser.
