Jack Osbourne has had a rough life for someone who has been born with a lot of priviliges. The son of rock star Ozzy Osbourne and America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne, Jack is reality television royalty. Not just for his mom’s career or his dad’s antics, Jack was one of the breakout stars of reality television juggernaut The Osbournes, which followed the adventures of Ozzy and his family as they went about their lives. Since then, Jack has had health problems, including battles with drugs and alcohol, losing 60 percent of the sight in his right eye, and other concerns. Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a few short weeks after becoming a father.
“While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry,” said Osbourne, 26. “Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point – if anything it’s only going to make it worse. ‘Adapt and overcome’ is my new motto.”
Jack’s fiancee, Lisa Stelly, gave birth to daughter Pearl a few months ago. Three weeks after Pearl was born, her father Jack went to the same hospital to find out he has MS. Osborne is expected to manage his condition, an autoimmune disorder that affects the brain and nervous system, with medication and holistic therapies. There is no cure for MS at this time.
