“You’re a rude, thoughtless little photographer!”

When it comes to famous actors, there’s no one quite as hotheaded as Alec Baldwin.  Baldwin is the guy who brought arch-Republican Jack Donaghy to life on 30 Rock, but he’s better known for his personal problems and history of angry outbursts.  Who can forget when Baldwin got thrown off a plane for Angry Birds or the time he called his daughter a rude, thoughtless little pig during an angry voicemail?  Well, he’s at it again; this time, he’s attacking strangers.  Alec Baldwin was caught on film assaulting a New York Daily News phototographer.

“He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin,” said Marcus Santos, a 42-year-old photographer for the New York Daily News who says he was coming to the defense of another photographer.  “And then he started shoving me, and pushing me.  He lunged at me like raging bull.”

Baldwin was with fiancee Hilaria Thomas outside of New York City’s Marriage License Bureau when the alleged assaults occurred.  Apparently Baldwin and Thomas were picking up their marriage license before the assault happened, and Baldwin didn’t want his trip covered in the press.  Well, now he’s getting more press coverage than he could possibly imagine thanks to the fisticuffs.
