Norway was shocked by the idea of a rapper carrying weed and money.

Here’s some very unsurprising news.  Last month, rapper Snoop Dogg was caught trying to smuggle a small amount of marijuana into Norway.  I know, that would never happen, right?  Well, Snoop was on his way to the Hove Festival in Norway, but while trying to enter the country via Kjevik Airport, Dogg had 8 grams of pot on his person, as well as more money than is legally allowed in Norway.  As a result of that, Snoop Dogg has been banned from Norway for two years.

Snoop, who like Willie Nelson is a major marijuana legalization advocate and vocal marijuana smoker and user, is reportedly not terribly upset by the ban and was able to make his scheduled gig at the Hove Festival.  Fresh off a headlining performance at Coachella, Snoop is currently on tour in the US.
