Just when you thought it wouldn’t return, it’s back.  Like clockwork, the looming spectre of Halloween means the release of a new Paranormal Activity movie.  The second one did great business thanks in part to a creepy trailer, and the third one broke box office records, so the fourth one has some big shoes to fill.  Does it?  Well, check out the trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 and find out for yourself!

The team that put together the third movie is being brought back for the fourth, which is a great idea because I really enjoyed the third movie.  Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will be back to direct and sculpt the scares, while the writing duties this time around will be handled by Zack Estrin, who worked on The River with producer and Paranormal Activity mastermind Oren Peli.  It looks as though Katie Featherston will be back as Evil Katie, it looks like baby Hunter is now the creepy kid next door, and it appears as though Dianna Agron is the little blonde girl we see using Skype in the trailer.
