Not the sort of guy you really want to get caught robbing.
On the television show NCIS: Los Angeles, rapper/actor/awards show host LL Cool J plays senior field agent Sam Hanna of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. On the show, he’s a tough detective who busts criminals. As it turns out, while LL isn’t a cop in real life, he’s pretty good at busting criminals. When LL Cool J found a burglar in the kitchen of his Studio City, California home, James subdued the burglar until police arrived, possibly by beating the crap out of him.
“There was a prowler at his residence whom he confronted in the kitchen,” said LAPD spokesman Richard French. He added, “he appeared to be a homeless person.”
A report in the LA Times said the suspected burglar ended up with a broken nose and jaw, which means that LL Cool J did more than just subdue the homeless burglar in question. It sounds like he gave the guy a pretty sound beating, or at least got a couple of really good shots in before the cops arrived. Mama said knock you out indeed!
