Fiona Apple’s mugshot somehow makes her no less cute.

The Sierra Blanca border crossing is one of the busiest border crossings in the world.  Apparently, Sierra Blanca is also the place where celebrities get arrested for drug possession when coming back from America’s drug mule to the south.  Many celebrities have been arrested for drug possession by the West Texas Border Patrol in that area, including obvious suspects like Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg, Armie Hammer from The Social Network, and probably many more.  The latest celebrity arrest in Sierra Blanca is Fiona Apple, who was busted with small amounts of marijuana and hashish.

While it was described by Hudspeth County spokesman Rusty Fleming as “a little tiny amount of pot and hash,” Apple faces serious charges.  While the 4 grams of marijuana is only a misdemeanor, the 4 grams of a clay-like substance that tested positive for hashish could net Apple a jail term.  Possession of any amount of hash is a felony.
