Detroit is a very tough town, just ask Jimmy Hoffa. The union labor leader was notorious in the 70’s, both for his actions and his disappearance. Having been last seen at a restaurant in Detroit, one of the strongest rumors about Hoffa’s burial place is a horse farm somewhere in Michigan; the other popular rumor is old Giants Stadium, but that one has never panned out. However, there might be some truth to the Michigan burial rumor. Police are investigating a Roseville, Michigan, driveway that may be Jimmy Hoffa’s tomb.
Roseville Police Chief James Berlin is “not claiming it’s Jimmy Hoffa” but is “investigating a body that may be at the location.” State environmental officials were using radar to investigate a driveway for structural soundness last week when they found an anomaly beneath the soil. Samples were taken and sent to Michigan State University for investigation of body decomposition.
Jimmy Hoffa was last seen on July 30, 1975.
