Here’s hoping Adele holds her baby better than she holds her awards.

October is shaping up to be a big month in what was a big year for singer Adele.  Not only did her latest hit song get released when she dropped the James Bond theme Skyfall, she also celebrated her pregnancy and possible secret marriage.  While Adele and Simon Konecki might not be married, apparently they are new parents.  Sources have told Us Weekly that Adele has given birth to her first child.  The baby is a son who was apparently born healthy and happy.  Other details are not available.

Let the speculation begin on how this will affect her next album.  Maybe it’ll be lullabies   Maybe it’ll be happier music to celebrate the birth of her baby?  Maybe she’ll plumb the depths of her misery to an insane degree thanks to post-partum depression?  Either way, I’m sure it’ll sell a billion copies no matter what form it might take.
