It’s one of the sweetest days of the year:  National Pancake Day.  Every year, the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) gives away a short stack of delicious pancakes in exchange for what they hope is a donation from you to the Children’s Miracle Network.  Today is IHOP’s annual National Pancake Day.  That means, from 7 AM until 10 PM today, you can head to your local IHOP and get a free short stack of delicious buttermilk pancakes to shove on your face.

This is one of the biggest days of the year for IHOP, and with good reason.  At last year’s Pancake Day, they gave away 4 million flapjacks.  Since 2006, IHOP has donated more than $10 million dollars to charity and given away more than 14 million pancakes.  IHOP’s goal is to raise $3 million dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network family of hospitals with their promotion, which seems like an achievable goal to me.

Now that you know what you’re going to have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, make sure you open up your pocketbook and be generous.
