Jenna Jameson has been charged with battery,

Saturday Night is indeed all right for fighting, as former porn star, stripper, and adult model Jenna Jameson found out.  The 38-year-old mother of twins, at one point one of the world’s most famous adult film stars who crossed over to mainstream success via roles on Family Guy, Howard Stern’s autobiographical movie Private Parts, and even getting a wax figure in Madame Tussaud’s.  Now, she’s gotten herself in trouble with the law.  Jenna Jameson was arrested by the Newport Beach Police Department following a citizen’s arrest for battery.

The person Jameson is alleged to have gotten in a physical altercation with is the person who detained her until the police arrived.  Jameson was taken into custody, but was later released without having to provide bail.  No details on Jameson’s relationship with the person she assaulted were revealed, though police officers say she knew the other person involved in the Orange County, California, altercation.  Jameson later took to Twitter, saying that a friend had broken into her home and robbed her, which may have something to do with the misdemeanor battery charge.

Jameson retired from the adult film world in 2008.
