Amanda Bynes has a history of getting wild and crazy.  She’s obviously got something wrong with her, as she can’t stop drinking like Randy Travis and smoking pot like Fiona Apple now that she’s retired from acting to become a full-time Twitter celebrity and train-wreck.  Well, Bynes is in trouble again, thanks to some very public consumption of marijuana.  Amanda Bynes was arrested by police in New York City on drug charges.

According to the cops, Bynes was spotted smoking marijuana and rolling a joint in the lobby of her apartment building in Midtown Manhattan, and that’s when the authorities were called on her.  NYPD found Bynes upstairs in her apartment, where cops saw heavy smoke and Bynes holding a bong.  Bynes tossed the bong out the window, but it was too late by then.  Police arrested Bynes on charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence, and criminal possession of marijuana.

Bynes is already on parole, having been given three years probation in California stemming from a DUI arrest in April 2012.  At that time, she had too much to drink and side-swiped a Los Angeles police car.
