Prince William and Kate Middleton went through a very long, very public courtship before they finally tied the knot.  After that, the wait was on for the inevitable announcement.  The world, it seems, wants a royal baby, and when said baby was finally announced, it seemed like the waiting just got worse for the royalists eagerly awaiting every glimpse of baby bump.  Well, calm down royal maniacs, Kate Middleton has been checked into the hospital with labor pains.  Katherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has checked into the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital.  That’s the same hospital where Princes William and Harry were born in the 80’s.

However, one thing about this baby will be different from the last royal baby, and that is the child will be a prince or princess (but we all know it’s a princess already) will be titled from the womb.  Queen Elizabeth recently made a new royal decree, declaring, “that all the children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales should have and enjoy the style, title and attribute of royal highness with the titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their Christian names or with such other titles of honor.”

Little baby Windsor will be known as the His or Her Royal Highness, Prince or Princess of Cambridge.
