The hero cat that saved her owner from a dangerous dog.
When you think of cats, you probably don’t think of bravery, loyalty, and defending loved ones at all cost. You probably think of lounging around in the sun or sleeping in improbable places. Well, one feisty feline proved that this wasn’t true by putting herself on the line to save her family. When a dog attacked 4-year-old Jeremy Triantafilo of Bakersfield, California, the family cat was there to save the day. Tara the tabby saved her family from a vicious dog attack by driving the dog away.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-Opm9b2WDkThe whole thing was captured on video by the family’s surveillance cameras. You can see the dog attack the boy, then Tara the cat comes running in, knocks the dog away from the boy, and runs the dog off before returning to her injured owner’s side.
“He was just playing outside and I was watering the plants. Next thing I know the dog was just there and it was shaking him. Before I could even get there, my cat clobbered him,” said Erica Triantafilo, the mother of Jeremy and owner of Tara. “She saved the day, chased him away and then came back to him after the dog was gone. It was truly amazing, she’s my hero.”
Meanwhile, my cat won’t even kill flies that get in the house.
