The world’s most handsome mugshot?

It’s always strange to see a mugshot with someone really attractive staring back at you from the pages of Crime Time or the local police department website. Most people, during their mugshots, look irritable or downright crazy, the exact opposite of the sort of thing people like to look at.  Not so for Stockton, California arrestee Jeremy Meeks, who is gathering a legion of fans just for being arrested on multiple felonies.   Jeremy Meeks’ handsome mugshot has gone viral, garnering 33,000 likes on Facebook alone.

“I have not seen that many likes for a photo before,” said Officer Joseph Silva, a spokesman for the Stockton Police Department.  He added that Meeks, despite his fair features, is “one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area.”

Meeks was arrested as part of Operation Ceasefire, a joint task force designed to reduce the amount of shootings and robberies in the violent Weston Ranch area of Stockton.  He faces six felony charges, five related to guns and one related to gang activity.  So yes, he’s handsome and dangerous… just the kind of guy that needs a good woman to fix him, right ladies?
