Usually when you hear about giant WNBA star Brittney Griner, the 6’8 center is dominating the competition on the court, or at worst, punching her opponents in the face during the course of a game.  However, it’s an off-court altercation Griner had with another WNBA player that’s getting her in trouble.  That player also happened to be her fiancee.  Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson were arrested following a domestic disturbance.  Both women were booked on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

Griner is already a superstar in the WNBA, notching her second straight All-Star appearance and a 2014 WNBA title with the Phoenix Mercury.  Johnson is a forward with the Tulsa Shock.  The two announced their engagement last August, though that might be derailed a bit since both of them are in the Maricopa County Jail.  Or, maybe that’s just how they bond together after a few too many rough games of pick-up ball.
