Rick Grimes is about to have some company on the Left Coast.
It’s a pretty quiet edition of Comic Con this year in San Diego. No Marvel means no big Marvel announcements, and yet, there’s still lots of fun stuff out there if you’re interested in television. Since The Walking Dead debuted, it kicked off a fever for all things undead, and that shows no signs of fading. Once upon a time, The Walking Dead‘s trailer was a big deal, and now the trailer for Fear The Walking Dead has taken the Internet by storm with an incredible debut, too. Feast your cataract-riddled undead eyes on the trailer below, zombie fiends.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDxew5SguVwDave Erickson, who co-created the show with Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, will be running the show during its debut six-episode season. With the debut set at August 23, Fear will dovetail with the original Walking Dead, set to return to screens on October 11 with a 90-minute special edition. That’s a good solid three months of zombie action, assuming the usual holiday break, and it’s going to be a fun test for just how the world accepts a third zombie TV show. Given that The Walking Dead breaks records every season, I imagine it’s going to go over really well.
