You might be familiar with the cougars on Sex and the City, but they’re not the only animals prowling around Tribeca! A wily little coyote, who had been on the run since she was first spotted in Manhattan on Wednesday, has finally had her luck run out on her. The nameless 1-year-old female was finally captured by the NYPD when she ran into two police officers in a parking lot near the West Side Highway.
However, just because the little kit was captured, that doesn’t mean her story is over. She was tranquilized and caged, but since she checked out clean of rabies, she’ll have a new home somewhere. As we speak, the city’s parks department is trying to figure out the best home for the popular little girl. I assume they’re not talking about a luxury loft in SoHo, either.
They’re lucky she didn’t steal a car and head out west!
