While some prefer to party like a rock star, others are more inclined to dwell in the same manner as some of the hottest rappers of our time.
Weichert Realtors has posted a listing of 8 rap star homes for sale. So if you have ever found yourself thinking, “I wish I could live in a rapper’s house,” then now is the time to act—make those dreams happen.
Some of the houses can be found in traditional celebrity haunts like Beverly Hills and Malibu. But if someone wanted a “bling” home (Weirchert’s word, not mine) in an affluent New Jersey suburb, then Weichert has got you covered.
The Simmons brothers, Russell and Joseph (better known as Reverend Run), have put each of their Saddle River, NJ houses on the market. Russell Simmons’ home, which was featured on an episode of MTV’s Cribs and is considered more of a palace, includes an awe-inspiring, fully functional movie theater and an indoor pool.
And if living in the heart of the South is more your style, then perhaps Jermaine Dupri’s Atlanta, Georgia mansion would be better suited to your tastes. The 5-bedroom, 5-bath residence also includes a stone tile pool with a hot tub and a 3-car garage. In the featured video clip, Dupri can be seen showing the MTV Cribs crew around this breathtaking Atlanta manor (1:51).
Also included on the list is Eminem’s childhood home, which can be found in “rustic” condition in Warren, Michigan. Selling on eBay to the highest bidder, Weirchert’s listing urges hip hop fans to buy up this property in order to preserve an essential piece of hip hop history. Joke or not, the house is really for sale.
