It’s the question I seem to ask most often when I use the internet, and probably the second most asked question throughout the web (aside from “A/S/L?”). “Hey, random person on my friends list, go to insert website and let me know if it’s working.” I’m sure I ask that about 15 times a day, and I know that my friends are tired of me making them look up websites involving Roger Corman dinosaur movies, Mystery Science Theater 3000, or famous movie explosions involving vampires. Go check out Down For Everyone Or Just Me and start finding out if that particular website you’re looking for is currently working.
You know something funny? To test the site, I used Google as a default search. It’s working, I know it’s working, so I figured it was perfect. I got an error message that suggested Down For Everyone was broken. I backed up, entered Down For Everyone’s domain name into Down For Everyone, and it came back and helpfully told me that the problem was on my end, not their end.
I’m so glad I didn’t have to ask someone to check their status for me.
