product1_4053.jpgShowgirls are all the rage right now apparently. Just watch CNN or Fox News for five minutes and you’ll probably catch a politician or two getting caught with an escort. But have you ever wondered what the secret to a high tip is for a stripper?

It’s not something a lot of people ponder every day, but thanks to modern science, the men in lab coats ventured into the unknown (read: gentlemen’s clubs) to get the skinny on how strippers maximize their tips.

The University of New Mexico found out that fertility is the reason why some girls rake in more than others. Girls at their peak of fertility made $70 per hour at the local club while others who were menstruating scraped the bottom at $35.

Subconscious cues like changes in odor are responsible for helping the gals make bigger tips. Who would have thought this could be called “research”?
