If you’re anything like me, you don’t throw things away promptly once they’re broken. After all, if you tinker with that NES or Dreamcast a little bit, maybe you’ll figure out a way to get it working again. Well, that’s what I tend to tell myself, anyway. Because of this, I have a lot of broken electronics laying around my house. Unlike these guys, I lack the handiness or awesomeness needed to turn my old video game console into an electric guitar.
I still have every console I’ve ever purchased. The only console I own that doesn’t work anymore is my NES. My late dog peed on it not once, but twice. My dad and I were able to clean it out and get it working again the first time, which goes to prove just how strong a console the old NES was. Meanwhile, my stupid Sega Game Gear fell a few lousy feet off of a dresser and shattered beyond all repair despite landing on the carpet. Shame the console used to make the guitar doesn’t tell us anything about how men and women view the future, but it does turn a rousing game of Guitar Hero into a 3-D touchstravaganza.
