Every time you think those Hollywood guys just can’t come up with another superhero movie sequel (what’s the word for sequels that are 400th in a series?), they do.
Don’t get me wrong. I love Batman, and I think Christian Bale is the best we’ve seen so far. But how many remakes—animated and not—can we possibly have in one century of the same superhero?
Superman? Spidey? And I don’t think I could handle another installment of the Fantastic Four movies. Sigh.
Too bad there are tons of superheroes screenwriters could be gleaning from the pages of comic books that would be new, original and beyond awesome to see on the silver screen.
There’s The Black Racer, who would represent quite a number of minorities that have been left out of this genre for ages—like superpowered skiers. And then there’s the Chlorophyll Kid, who can stimulate the plant growth and, in these green times, who wouldn’t be inspired by such power?
Unfortunately, these guys will never see the big screen, at least according to OMG Lists. Check out their full list of “7 Weird Superheros Who Won’t Ever Hit the Silver Screen (But Should).”
