Whether you call it football, or soccer, the notion of an all-dwarf team sounds awesome. Especially when the players’ nicknames include “The Phenomenon” and “Vagner Love.” Brazilians have always had a thing for the sport of soccer, but when native dwarves decided to start a team of their own, they challenged all pint-sized attitudes.

They call themselves the Giants of the North. At least they have a sense of humor too!

Average height for the team hovers around 4 feet tall, with the smallest weighing in at 3 feet 3 inches. However Ronaldo The Phenomenon is not a little person. So do they compete against average height players? Well, their competition usually includes youth teams. But I don’t think they hold back, since their last match ended with a 4-0 victory.

Imagine the kids explaining that loss at school. These guys definitely would not be on our list of lame sports superstars, that’s for sure.
