Even though it was considered the most popular show ever for that time slot at the Venezuelan TV channel, “The Simpsons” was pulled due to complaints that it was unsuitable for children. So management replaced the popular cartoon with “Baywatch Hawaii,” which we’re guessing appeals to that 11 a.m. demographic.
Apparently it does, because they haven’t received any complaints. This version of Baywatch, for those unfamiliar, includes “bikini-clad bombshells and musclebound hunks working as lifeguards on the Hawaiian coast.”
They didn’t reveal which elements of The Simpsons came under fire, but obviously Baywatch doesn’t include any of them. Stay-at-home Dads love the new programming decision.
