I’ve got to admit, I’ve got an exercise bike in my house that taunts and mocks me with its inactivity. That’s why I make it functional by using it as a place to hang certain clothing. At least it’s functional then.
Maybe if I had a bicycle shaped like a giant guitar I’d be more apt to sit and spin.
German cycling fan and guitar hero Didi Senft has designed and manufactured this behemoth bike that he uses to raise money for charity. What do you think he would come up with if he saw this design?
The cycle is 16.4 feet tall and 39.3 feet in length. I’m guessing this bad boy works a lot better in a straightaway than in an S-curve. Does it need a sign on the back that says “Caution, this vehicle makes wide turns.”?
It seems there’s something about a bicycle that stirs the creative mind. Design Boom has links to more odd bike designs like this one.
Even Freddie Mercury and Queen have been inspired by two-wheeled transportation.
