Things have simply gone too far.

I kept my mouth shut about the Hello Kitty waffle iron, the Hello Kitty digital camera, the Hello Kitty PS2 controller and the Hello Kitty Stratocaster. I was very understanding that even women heading into their 40s need to be wrapped in Hello Kitty bath towels and watch Hello Kitty televisions sometimes.

But after reading a recent post from Gizmo Watch, I just don’t know how much more this world can take. According to the technoblog, there now exists out there in the world a Hello Kitty power sander. 

Um, why? Why do people need every electronic device they own or could possibly own one day (if they decide to build a deck perhaps) covered in tiny white cat heads sporting crooked pink bows?

I know that you have no answers, but I also know that you will share in my pain while laughing at the fact that the picture below is not a joke. Hello Kitty power sanders are real. And they’re real funny:
