Now, wildlife photographers have captured the first shot ever of an orangutan using a tool. The primate had watched local Borneo fisherman use a spear to capture a meal and mimicked their efforts. The Daily Mail has the full story.

It’s not the first time primates have been spotted using tools to hunt. National Geographic has run stories about chimps using spears to hunt for bush babies. Here’s a link to some video of them in action.
