I’m more of a dog person than a cat person, so sometimes all the LOL cats on the web drive me a bit crazy.

However, I did take note of two stories of adventurous cats in the news recently.

No, not this lost pet poster from earlier on PopFi. These stories were about actual cats.

One involved a traveling cat making a 460-mile trip around London before being returned to its slave owner. The wonders of the Internet helped unite this road-weary feline with its original owner.

The other tale involved Bud the cat’s four-day misadventure in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Bud, not to be confused with the athletic canine named Bud who plays basketball and soccer, was stuck in a drain pipe and was rescued safe and sound after some digging and sawing.

And I’m also guessing neither one of the cats was overly appreciative of all the effort that went into their returns to home. Cats just don’t swing like that.
