Drunken Cow Woman On Rampage

Posted 10/01/2008 1:19 pm by Ron Hogan

cowsuit-woman.jpgThis story has been everywhere, but it’s too good to pass up.  After all, the story is about a woman named Michelle Allen who allegedly got dressed up in a cow suit, chased kids, peed on someone’s front porch, and blocked traffic.  Unsurprisingly, she picked a fight with cops and smelled strongly of alcohol.  Surprisingly, this wasn’t some sort of crazy PETA stunt.

There has to be some sort of mental illness at work here, right?  Surely normal people don’t even own cow outfits, let along do all the things this woman supposedly did.  Booze can make you do some crazy things, but I’ve never known anyone so drunk as to stand in the middle of the street dressed like a cow.

It’s a fitting end to the drunken summer of 2008.

One of the fun things about science is they do stuff just because they want to see if they can.  It doesn’t have to make sense or be fuel-efficient or conform to any normal person’s sense of economy, they just have to ask the question, “Hey, do you think we could run a car on […]

The image of the great white shark emerging from the depths of the ocean to terrorize a crowded coastline is a popular one, but it might not necessarily be the best representation of how the great white spends its days.  In fact, if research is correct, the great white shark might actually spend its time […]

One of the more interesting things about Switzerland is that you only need 100,000 signatures on a petition to take a bill to a national referendum, so pretty much anyone with a little time and dedication can get a bill up for consideration by the entire nation.  Recently, the Swiss Animal Protection League manages to […]
