PopFi has covered some unusual crimes before, but this is getting a little ridiculous. Dasha, a woman from Washington State, has been pulled over some 30 times by the police in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Seattle. And the reason she’s been pulled over so often? Because, she claims, cops want to flirt with her. That’s right, the cops pull her over for being pretty, and she’s had enough. That’s why some friends of hers wrote the message “ATTN: Police Please Do Not Pull Me Over Just Because I’m Pretty” on her rear window.
I understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but to be pulled over 30 times just for supposed hotness? Unless it’s the same few cops doing it over and over again in an attempt to strike up a conversation with her, she’s got to be doing something wrong to attract their attention. If it is the same few cops pulling her over repeatedly, they either need to write her a ticket or get disciplined by their supervisors for wasting taxpayer time and money stalking some poor Eastern European woman.
I think that writing this kind of message on your window is just begging cops to write you tickets, and if I was her I’d scrape it off as soon as possible. While it has helped her keep from getting pulled over, it definitely won’t help her get out of any future tickets. In fact, if you protest your tickets in court, this is the kind of thing that might make the cop actually show up to the trial.
