The offices of the Metropolitan Police in Kennington are home to the department’s weapons and technology experts. Like most people tech inclined, those police officers are also a little bit on the messy side. However, you think they’d have fire power enough to take care of a mouse problem before the mice started building nests in the paperwork! They didn’t, and embarrassed police officials had to call in professional exterminators to handle matters in the dirtiest police station in London.
The problem was that the police were disregarding the departmental clean desk policy. With the glut of papers, workers couldn’t adequately clean. Next thing you know, mice were setting up shop amongst the piles of records and memos and general office clutter. No word on whether or not the officer with the poopy rat’s nest desk got transferred to Garbage City for his next assignment.
