There’s nothing quite like breaking into a brand new bar of chocolate. One of the things I missed most while dieting wasn’t the taste of chocolate so much as it was that second before I popped that first bite into my mouth. There’s nothing quite like that barely-audible snap that leads to chocolatey goodness. That’s the sensation Bandai is trying to capture with the infinite chocolate bar.
To celebrate the 84th anniversary of Japanese company Meiji Chocolate, they’ve partnered with the toymaker to produce a line of mugen (products designed to simulate a specific action and sound) tied to the company’s chocolate line. The Meiji Infinite Chocolate toys even come in a variety of flavors: milk, white, and dark. I’m partial to a rich dark chocolate most of all, I think. If it actually smells like chocolate, too? Then that’s a winner.
