The goal of most break-ins is to get in and out of the place as fast as possible with as much stuff as possible. At least, that’s how a break-in normally works. However, one accused criminal in Easton, Pennsylvania didn’t get the memo. When he broke into a house, he made himself at home. The man rifled through the belongings, sure; but he also took a shower, cut his hair, and when the homeowner arrived, he was frying up some chicken for dinner and watching TV.
Wow, with the way this guy was making himself comfortable, I’m surprised he didn’t redecorate after the break-in to make the place more to his liking! Sounds like he was setting up shop for the long haul, rather than simply taking off with some cash. Granted, I’d be mad if I came home and my front window was busted in and all my stuff was rummaged through, and I’m not a huge fan of strangers showering and shaving in my house, but to come home and find a nice chicken dinner on the stove? That’s kind of a silver lining, isn’t it?
