An unnamed 17-year-old robber broke into Bella Office Furniture in Kennewick, Washington, but apparently was in no hurry to get out of the store with some stolen loot. He eventually took off with a cell phone, but before then he spent about five hours hanging out in the store. What was he doing in the store for five hours? Playing on the Internet.
He browsed the Internet, checked out some pornography, and (here’s how he got caught), he logged into his MySpace page to see what all his friends were up to. Generally, when you break into a place, the last thing you want to do is go to a website that tracks all your personal information and play around, if only because it makes it significantly easier for the cops to find out your demographic information and, thus, your identity.
