As a cabbie in New York’s tough borough of The Bronx, it’s likely that Mahmoud Seck has seen a lot of weird things in his life.  Odds are he’s probably been the victim of a robbery before, too.  However, when he picked up a random guy in his livery cab, it’s not likely he expected to be the victim of an attempted robbery by a vampire.  Looks like Edward Cullen has fallen on hard times!

Actually, the suspect isn’t a pasty, sparkly white kid, but a swarthy, 30-something Hispanic male.  During the robbery, the suspect pulled a gun on the driver.  A struggle ensued, and during the struggle Mahmoud was bitten repeatedly on the neck and back by the suspect, thus confirming the crook was after both Mahmoud’s money and his sweet, sweet vitae.  Mahmoud has been checked into the Forks, Washington hospital’s vampire recovery wing where he’ll be watched over by armed guards for his own safety.
