A gassy prisoner accused of turning his deadly biological weapon on the guards at a prisoner has been told to stick a cork in it. At the Kirseberg Prison in Malmo, Sweden, an inmate has been disciplined for, and I quote, “a series of concerted attacks” in the form of directed flatulence. That’s right, an unnamed 21-year-old prisoner got in trouble for farting on the guards. Of course, if you believe the prisoner, you get a different story.
“I had an upset stomach while I was playing cards but did not want to fart there. So I went over to the guards instead,” said the prisoner. After all, disturbing the guards will get you yelled at; disturbing the prisoners might get you shanked.
I think he made the right choice. Not that I approve of the use of poison gas attacks (or even in general), but sometimes you just have to turn the other cheek. That’s what the guards should have done.
