It’s generally best to stick with what you know.  To mark the occasion of an official visit to the Netherlands by Pope Benedict XVI, a Dutch sex shop has decided to stick with what they know to pay tribute to the Pope.  To celebrate his visit, they’re going to be giving away 2,000 Pope-themed condoms with Pope Benedict’s likeness on them.  The condom features an obvious likeness of the Pope with his face removed, saying the words “I SAID NO! We say YES!”

The Condom Factory, or De Condoomfabriek, is the shop giving away the condoms as a protest against the Church’s policy on contraception, as well as to raise awareness of unwanted pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and of course, their business of making and selling condoms.  Previous Pope condom remarks have caused diplomatic rows in the past, most recently in Great Britain.
