There’s just something about those express flights that just sends people into a deep, deep sleep. First we had a guy oversleep for 90 minutes after his flight landed, and now a woman flying from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. to Philadelphia on a United Express flight was allowed to sleep on the plane for four hours after it landed! The cleaning crew roused the woman at 4 in the morning.
I can understand how she’d sleep through landing. Some people can sleep through anything, after all. But how did the crew not notice the woman, slumped over and drooling, long after everyone else got off the plane? I’m sure the flight crew is in a hurry to get off the plane, but you’d think someone walking from the galley to the nose would have noticed an unconscious body taking up free space (or that someone would get on the plane between the plane’s midnight arrival time and 4 AM).
