“I’m thinking of putting up a sign in front of the house saying ‘Beware of Air Freshener,'” said 70-year-old British man Arthur Whitehouse.  You see, his can of Wilkinson’s Citrus Fresh aerosol air freshener has saved his life… for the second time.  Last year, Whitehouse warded off a would-be robber by spraying air freshener in his eyes (not because of the powerful smell of air freshener).  This year, Whitehouse has warded off a second robber with a well-timed blast of air freshener into the eyes.

If you were Whitehouse, would you leave the house without air freshener?  Something about the 70-year-old’s Cannock, England, home just screams, “Hey, rob me!”  Still, at least we know he can take good care of himself, right?  I mean, I’m not sure I could scare off one crook, let alone two, with nothing more than a can of Glade and a mean look!
