Long, long ago, when the superhero Spider-Man was first beginning his adventures, he tried to join up with Marvel’s premier superhero team, The Fantastic Four. Upon finding out the Fantastic Four didn’t pay well (or at all), Spidey went his own way. That was a long time ago. This time, when the Fantastic Four needed a new team member, Spider-Man answered the call. Spider-Man and the surviving Fantastic Four members have founded a new superhero team, The Future Foundation.
Spider-Man joined up alongside Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, and The Invisible Woman to kick-start the Future Foundation. Indeed, he also gets a snazzy new white uniform, along with the rest of the team. However, Spidey doesn’t ditch his iconic uniform design, he just gets a color reboot. It’s just a shame Ben Grimm can’t get a shirt for once. You know he has to be tired of running around, fighting in his underwear.
The new team will debut in FF#1, by Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting. The issue will go on sale March 23.
