If bears breaking into cars to steal beer wasn’t bad enough, now we’ve got deer breaking into apartments. Over the weekend a deer burst through the window of an apartment in Eagan, Minnesota and wound up trapped in the bathroom. According to police officers who responded to the call Saturday morning, the animal was bleeding pretty badly from wounds it had sustained while breaking the window, and its front hooves were lodged in the toilet bowl. It’s a miracle the toilet didn’t break, given the struggle the deer must have given.
After presumably freeing the deer from the toilet, police officers used a mattress to corral the animal and guide it back out of the apartment. The unnamed couple who live in the Minneapolis-St. Paul suburb were not harmed during the incident, and neither were the police, but it’s unclear what happened to the deer once they got it back outside. There was also no word on whether or not the animal wore a mask when it decided on a little early morning B&E.
