The television show Two And A Half Men is one of the biggest hits in television history. It’s the most popular sitcom on the air, and everyone involved has made a mint off of the hundreds of episodes that were produced before CBS and Chuck Lorre pulled the show off the air to retool it for new centerpiece Ashton Kutcher. Given the show’s popularity, there’s no surprise that it’s on the air constantly in syndication. Well, enough is enough for one Bronx, New York man. Freddy Caldwell threatened to blow up WPIX-11 unless the New York television station took Two And A Half Men off the air.
Honestly? I cannot blame this guy at all. My local independent television station shows Two And A Half Men constantly, and it’s not just here, it’s every independent cable station. This show, to my chagrin, is everywhere all the time, and I can’t stand it. Not only am I not a fan of the show, the fact that it’s pushing everything I might want to watch (which is anything OTHER than that) out of prime viewing locations is just driving me mad.
Not mad enough to call my local TV station and threaten to blow it up (TWICE) if they don’t take the show off the air, but still pretty mad.
