It’s time for your bi-yearly chupacabra sighting, boys and girls! What once was only a Mexican phenomenon has now spread throughout Texas and up into the South. It’s been seen as far north as Kentucky, though this most recent chupacabra shooting occurred outside of Mendenhall, Mississippi, in Simpson County. Truitt Barnard was out hunting when he saw a hairless creature with long teeth, rounded ears, and back legs longer than the front. So, it goes without saying that he shot it and killed it. Did Truitt Barnard shoot a chupacabra?
“It’s an ugly looking beast,” said Truitt Barnard, the man who shot and killed the rumored chupacabra. “I know it’s not a coyote. I’ve killed some mangy coyotes too, and I just haven’t seen something quite like it. I’ve seen several different things they say we don’t have in Mississippi.” Added Truitt, this creature “wasn’t a big deal.”
As usual, it looks like a mangy Doberman, or some kind of weird deer. Still, I guess it’s better safe than sorry. May as well let other people decide what it is after you shoot it.
