"Did you miss us? We're back!"
Once upon a time, there was this type of music called rock and roll, and it was a very big deal. Among the leaders of rock in the 1980’s was a little band called Van Halen, in which a pair of brothers named Van Halen teamed up with a singing, dancing maniac named David Lee Roth to record some of the craziest, funniest, best rock of all time. Well, such team-ups rarely last, and in 1985, David Lee Roth left Van Halen. Well, now the band is getting back together. David Lee Roth has returned to Van Halen, and the band is set to tour in 2012.

That’s right, they’re recording together for the first time since the album 1984. As for former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar? When aliens aren’t downloading into his brain, he’s touring and recording with the band Chickenfoot (which includes former Van Halen bass player Michael Anthony).
