The lines are already forming for the iPad 3; it's those three guys.
When it comes to technology, Apple has hit upon a winning formula. Take existing technology, Apple-fy it, then release it every few years with minor upgrades to crazy sales and media frenzy. For example, the iPad has been a monster success with every new generation, and since Apple has to adjust to a new CEO and a post-Jobs lifestyle, they’re going to go back to the formula that’s served them so well. The iPad 3 will be coming in March, according to sources, so prepare to get sick of the thing before it even happens.
So what’s Apple’s upgrades for the next version of the iPad? Well, they’re going to have a faster processor; that’s just par for the course. Apple is upgrading to a quad-core chip which will perk up the iPad’s already impressive performance. On top of that, it will play nicely with next-generation wireless technology called LTE or long-term evolution that is going to be pushed into service by AT&T and Verizon, boosting speed of transmission and giving better performance when on the go.
And there’s one more thing: a high-definition display. Indeed, Apple’s new HD display in the iPad will be fine enough to display with print quality graphics, which should make reading books on it significantly better, and give Apple another little boost above the competition. Namely, the Kindle Fire. It’s obvious Apple is going for the top of the marketplace with this latest iPad; no doubt Foxconn is pleased with its corporate future, even if workers aren’t getting any of that money.
