I struggle to believe that someone who got famous for killing someone could be a murderer.

He rose to fame for his good deeds, but it’s a bad deed he’s found renewed notoriety for.  Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, AKA Kai the Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker, rose to fame as a result of his heroic actions when he stopped a woman from being attacked by killing the attacker with a hatchet to the brain pan.  Now, it is believed that Kai is a murderer.  Kai the Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker has been arrested for murder.  As it turns out, you may need more than just a towel to hitchhike, Arthur Dent.

The body of Joseph Galfry Jr., a 73-year-old lawyer from Clark, New Jersey, was found murdered in his home with a blunt object.  The body was wearing only underwear and a tee-shirt and was found in a blood-soaked bed.  Apparently the two had met in Times Square and went to Clark’s home.  After the incident on Saturday, some fans of Kai’s gave him a ride to Pennsylvania, where he was arrested at the bus station in Philadelphia.  A posting on Kai’s Facebook page asks, “what would you do” [after waking up and] “realizing that someone had drugged [and] raped … you?”
